My Dad and I bought this 1974 Sportavia-Putzer RF5B from a old friend Bruce Conrad. It was based at New Garden Airport 40 miles NW of Philadelphia, PA. It needed a new engine and we installed a new Limbach 1700. It took two days to change the engine and do the annual inspection. Then we started on our flight home. My friend Ken flew back with me. 27 hours of flight time, 6 days. |
